About Us

Since 1925 the Friends of Austin volunteers have been an integral group of supporters, generously giving their time and raising funds for Austin Hospital. They have championed numerous activities, and for decades have been dedicated to supporting the retail operations of the hospital. This includes Austin Gifts, located in the Harold Stokes Building on Level 3.

Over the years, the shop has been lovingly sustained by dedicated volunteers, selling a range of products to staff, patients and visitors. For many, Austin Gifts created a special place to visit at the hospital. In May 2019, after decades of service to Austin Health, the gift shop closed its doors for a short hibernation while building works were undertaken to create a beautiful new retail space. 

The shop has been eagerly received by all, offering a great updated range of products including homewares, jewellery, children’s gifts and so much more.

Now, we are excited to offer Austin Gifts online so that you can purchase a gift for a loved one in hospital or to be delivered to you by Australia post.
Proceeds from every purchase from Austin Gifts, whether in store or online, go to the hospital. Funds raised will help Austin Health continue to  provide exceptional healthcare to the community.
